is that there is talk of Governor Scott Walker having a much deeper agenda than disempowering unions. Some reports have it that Walker's war on public employee unions is a deliberate smoke screen to obscure an item buried in his budget: a provision enabling the state to sell power plants, via no-bid contracts with no public oversight, at pennies on the dollar. The likeliest buyers: Koch Industries, who are major Walker campaign contributors. Walker, the argument goes, is playing progressives like a piano by drawing their ire to the union issue, on which he will ultimately compromise, while gaining quiet passage of a power-plant giveaway that will be a windfall for his benefactors and a disaster for taxpayers.
All I'm saying is nothing.
